Shingles is a type of skin disease; it is highly infectious in nature. This is commonly known as Herpes Zoster. The infection spreads vigorously between the people on contact, therefore attention towards proper care of the patient as well as of the people caring him is must. This disease occurred due to viral infection. A patient suffering from Shingles shows the remarkable symptoms like redness of the skin, rashes, fluid filled blisters all over the body or on to specific area and mild fever. Although there are many oral as well as serum medicines available for the disease, but a person can also use some useful home remedies for shingles. Firstly, you can wipe yourself by clean wet towel soaked in cold water by adding dettol or savlon to it. This can give you relief from the itching due to disease. You can also make a paste by crushing tablets of aspirin in a suitable amount of alcohol. Put the paste on the blisters, this remedy can heal you tremendously. If you do not want to use tablets, then just make a mixture of camphor and coconut oil by mixing these two in appropriate quantity and apply on the affected area. This paste has cooling effect and can help you to get rid of itching.

There is one precaution, which one should take is, not to disrupt the blisters by nails. This practice can be harmful for you. There are more home remedies for shingles. For treating blisters, one can also made a paste of natural ingredients like aloe vera extract and pure honey, put this on to the blisters and the itching will eventually get reduced. Do not roam in the sun or to the places where the atmosphere is hot and humid. Relax and be in cool places. In another home remedy, put some baking soda into the cold water and wipe gently the blisters, but extra care should be taken else the blisters will get ruptured.

Home Remedies For Bronchitis

To keep himself light, the patient should wear loose cotton cloths; tight cloths may harm the rashes and can increase the irritability. You should also keep the blisters open, do not cover them. Let them dry and in this way, you help yourself in healing the blisters. Blisters of Shingles are very much common in appearance with chickenpox, but the two are completely different and should be treated very carefully. In addition, to get relief from the pain and itching, you can make a solution of apple cedar vinegar in approximately one cup of cold water. Apply this on the marks by wet cotton.

Yes, the patient should follow a prescribed diet plan. Foodstuffs, which contains high amount of amino acid should not be taken and the diet should have ample of those products, which have the anti viral property in it. Therefore, by following the proper medication precautions and home remedies for shingles, one can easily come out of this deadly disease called Shingles.
